     Thomas Tileston was born on 13 August 1793 at Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Lemuel Tileston and Mary Minns.1 He married Mary Porter, daughter of Dudley Porter, on 11 April 1820 at Haverhill, Massachusetts.1 He died on 29 February 1864 at 2 E. 14th St., New York, New York, at age 70.1,2 He was buried on 1 March 1864 at New York Marble Cemetery, New York, Manhattan, New York.2
