     Daniel W. Howard was born on 14 April 1796. He was the son of Uriah Howard and Lydia Rice. He married Patience W. (?). He died on 11 July 1872 at Phillips, Franklin, Maine, at age 76.1 He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Phillips, Franklin, Maine.1
