Lydia Rice was buried at Phillips, Franklin, Maine.1 She was born on 6 January 1767 at Hanover, Grafton, New Hampshire. She was the daughter of Benjamin Royce and Seble (?). She married Uriah Howard, son of Daniel Howard and Sarah Bachus, on 20 May 1783 at Dorchester, New Hampshire. She died on 1 December 1851 at Phillips at age 84.1
