     John Stanyan was born on 16 May 1642 at Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.2 He was the son of Anthony Stanyan and Mary (?). He married Mary Bradbury, daughter of Captain Thomas Bradbury and Mary Perkins, on 17 December 1663 at Salisbury.3,1 He died on 27 September 1718 at age 76.4
