Susan Elizabeth Cilley was born on 28 February 1851 at South Boston, Ionia, Michigan. She was the daughter of Rev. Elbridge Gerry Cilley and Ruth Hunt. She married Zebina Flavious Griffin on 28 February 1881 at Jackson, Jackson, Michigan. She died circa 6 January 1927 at Keuka Park, New York.¹ She was buried on 8 January 1927 at Keuka Park.¹
