     Isaac B. Cilley was born on 4 October 1804 at New Hampshire.1,2 He was the son of Jacob Cilley and Abagail Brown.1 He married Betsy Blake, daughter of Dearborn Blake and (?) Marion.3 He died on 19 February 1889 at Atkinson, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 84.4,5 He was buried at North Atkinson Cemetery, Atkinson, Piscataquis, Maine.4

     Isaac B. Cilley and Betsy Blake appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Atkinson enumerated 29 August 1850, Isaac, 45, born in New Hampshire, is a farmer with real estate valued at $700; Betsey, 43, born in New Hampshire; household members are S. B., L. B., Elvira, Eliza, and Isaac.3
     Isaac B. Cilley and Betsy Blake appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Atkinson enumerated 16 June 1860, Isaac, age 54, born in New Hampshire, a farmer with real estate valued at $800 and personal property of $210; Betsey, age 51, born in New Hampshire; household members are Bolivar, Elvina, Eliza and Isaac.7
     Isaac B. Cilley and Betsy Blake appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Atkinson enumerated 17 June 1870, Isaac, age 65, born in New Hampshire, a farmer, has real estate valued at $1000 and person property of $475; wife Betsey, age 63, born New Hampshire, keeping house; household members are Simon and Elvira.8
     Isaac B. Cilley appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Atkinson enumerated 17 June 1880, Isaac, age 75, born New Hampshire, widower, does some chores; also living here is his son Bolivar.2
     First to settle in Atkinson. He settled upon fifty-five acres of wild land, which he cleared and improved into a good farm, and afterward resided here until his death, which occurred in February, 1890, at the age of eighty-five years. A carpenter by trade, he followed that craft in connection with farming during his active years. He married Betsey Blake, a native of New Hampshire, who had four children--Simon B., Loren B., Elvina T., and Isaac A.5
