     Charles H. Hill was born circa 1827 at New Hampshire.² He was the son of Joseph Hill and Matilda Danielson.¹ He married Martha Cilley, daughter of Abraham B. Cilley and Rebecca Dow, on 29 June 1847 at Rockingham Co., New Hampshire.¹
