     Samuel Getchell was born in 1657.1 He was the son of Samuel Getchell and Dorcas (?). He married Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Robert Jones and Joanna Osgood, on 27 November 1679.2 He died on 7 July 1710 at Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts.3 He died on 7 July 1710.2
     
     Served with Capt Poole's Co. stationed at Hatfield Mass during the winter of 1676-1677. Credited 23-Sep-1676 with 2 pounds 14s as pay.3 Samuel Getchell was also known as Samuel Getchell.3
