Cilley appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Waterville, Kennebec, Maine, enumerated 21 April 1910, Shedrick, 38, Maine, is a section foreman of the railroad; his wife of 14 years, Olive, 37 and born in Maine; They reside on Collins St. Also living here are their adopted son Clarence, their children Merle, Clyde, Veleria and Raymond.³ As of 21 April 1910, Olive E. Maloon had 4 children, 4 of which were living.³

Cilley appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Waterville enumerated 13 January 1920, Shedrick, 47, Maine, foreman for the railroad; his wife Olive is 47 and born Maine; They reside at 153 College Ave, which they own and have mortgaged, with their children Merle, Clyde, Veleria and Raymond.⁴
