     Sarah Hersey Cilley was born on 19 November 1843 at Nottingham, Rockingham, New Hampshire.1,2 She was the daughter of John Osgood Cilley and Henrietta Butler.1 She married James Dearborn Butler Esq., son of James Hersey Butler and Mary Hersey Dearborn, on 16 June 1869.1 She died in 1916.3 She was buried at Nottingham.3
