     Maria Prince Cilley was born on 17 February 1862 at Montevideo, Uruguay.1 She was the daughter of Commander Greenleaf Cilley and Malvina Vernet.2 She died on 4 December 1863 at Brooklyn, New York, at age 1 of scarlet fever while the family was in the US.1,3 She was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Thomaston, Knox, Maine.1,4
