     Roger Smith Cilley was born on 15 March 1934 at Exeter, Rockingham, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Norman Osgood Cilley and Stella Elizabeth Smith.1 He married Jacqueline E. LaBranch, daughter of John LaBranch and Rachel Dubois, on 2 March 1957.1 He died on 20 July 2004 at Hall Road, Barrington, Strafford, New Hampshire, at age 70.2 He was buried on 24 July 2004 at Calvary Cemetery, Newmarket, Rockingham, New Hampshire.2
     Roger Smith Cilley began military service in April 1952, U.S. Air Force.2 He ended military service in April 1956.2 He was graduated circa 1960 from University of New Hampshire at Durham, New Hampshire.2 He was graduated circa 1962 from SUNY at Albany, New York Masters degree.2 He and Jacqueline E. LaBranch resided in 1972 at Phoenicia, New York.3 He and Jacqueline E. LaBranch resided in 1984 at Barrington.3
     He was a wonderful provider for his family. He enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. He was a master craftsman, a great carpenter and a humorist.2
