Althea M. Cilley

Lived in Wilton and Mont Vernon

Althea M. Cilley, 58, of Lower Main St., Wilton, N.H., died Aug. 7, 2004, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, after a brief illness.

Born Dec. 12, 1945, in Grafton, she was the daughter of Leon C. and Winnie B. (Morse) Valia.

Mrs. Cilley had been a resident of Wilton for the past 20 years and had also lived in Mont Vernon for many years.

She enjoyed woodworking, knitting, crocheting and crafts.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roger G. Cilley, in 1997.

The family includes a daughter, Dolores I. Hoyt of Francestown; two sons, Patrick Canney of Milford and Scott W. Canney of Francestown; five grandchildren; two sisters, June Burrington of Grafton and Elaine Gilman of Lisbon; a brother, Leon Valia of Lebanon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral was held Aug. 11 at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford. Burial was in Number Three Cemetery, Francestown.
